The resource center is a reference
location to provide various helpful information for General Volunteers. Within
this section you will find descriptions of what volunteer opportunities exist
for Gateway Soccer. If you have information you would like to be considered for
this page, send you request along with the information to [email protected].
General Volunteers
Volunteers on every level are critical
to a successful program. There is always additional help that is needed
throughout the season above the standard coach and team manager roles. Many
parents have found that they can help out before or after their child's game.
Volunteers are needed for game day field prep (before and after the
games), helping out in the concession stand serving food and drinks
during practices and games, as well as some behind the scenes work.
Gateway Soccer appreciates whatever time that you can donate, even if it
is just for one hour.
Volunteer Roles
Concession
Stand Worker - Responsibility is to include helping out in the concession
stand serving food and drinks during practices and games. The CSA
appreciates whatever time that you can donate, even if it is just for one
hour. Many parents have found that they can help out before or after
their child's game. Many schools will also accept volunteer hours for
your children and it's a good opportunity for them to get more involed in the
soccer program (children 10 and up is preferred). Please add a comment
when registering or send an email to [email protected].
As
Needed Volunteer - Throughout the season there are times when a few extra hands
are needed. If you would like to offer your time to help out, send us an email.
